26-year-old sensation Megan Thee Stallion will officially be a college graduate of Prairie View A&M University! On Monday, October 25th, the rapper announced through an Instagram post that she will be moving her tassel from right to left by the end of 2021. With her health administration degree, the rapper hopes to open assisted living facilities using the money she has made as a female rap sensation.

“2021 finna graduate collegeeee, taking my graduation pics today,”

she captioned on Instagram, holding up her bedazzled graduation cap with the words “Real Hot Girl Sh*t,” quoting her number one hit, “Hot Girl Summer.”

While her love for rapping and performing was undeniable, Megan did not want to drop out of college despite her success, so when her career as a female rap sensation took off, she decided on becoming a part-time student. Her drive to become a college graduate stems from a difficult time in her life. In 2019, the rapper lost her mother to a cancerous tumor in her brain, and shortly after the loss of her mother, her grandmother passed.

"I'm doing it for me, but I'm also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today," Megan Thee Stallion tells in her interview with PEOPLE magazine.

Congrats to Megan on her accomplishment!
