What you will need:
Old side table
Vinegar
Water
Spray bottle
Paint
Though it might sound like a lot of work to dress up a side table, in reality, it's super simple! Take an old side table, preferably something cheap you can find at a garage sale or estate sale, and paint it your desired color. After you are finished painting the table, let it dry. Then take your spray bottle and fill it with a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar. Spray the mixture on the table. Take an old rag and wipe it down when wet to give it that distressed look. Voilà, you have a new vintage-looking table!

What you will need:
Small cardboard storage box with drawers
Wallpaper
Old glass doorknobs
Glue stick
Though this may seem like an odd or cheap vintage option, it can be a cute way to get your crafting on! The first thing you will need to do is take the small cardboard box, which you can find at any craft store, and use the glue stick to apply the wallpaper to your box. Next, take the drawers from your box and place a small hole in the center, and connect the doorknobs to the drawers. Lastly, and this is optional, add any flower petals, gems, or lace to the drawers to get that finished look! This small box of drawers is perfect for any loose change, jewelry, or items you have on your dresser.

This next craft is stylish and easy! For your first step, you have two options: either find an old window pane from your house or go thrifting to find one elsewhere. What you will need:
Old, vintage style picture frame
Chicken wire
Wire cutters
Nail gun
Small length of wood that is the width of your frame
Screws
Drill
To start this project, you need to find an old picture frame or mirror frame. These are easy to find without breaking the bank at places like junk stores or antique shops. After you have the frame or mirror, take out the glass from the back so you have an empty frame. Measure your chicken wire to the length of the opening of the frame and use the wire cutters to cut it. Next, take your chicken wire and use the nail gun to staple the chicken wire to the back of the frame. Lastly, take your piece of wood and screw it to the bottom of the frame so your jewelry does not rest on the back wall. There you have it! A stylish but vintage frame where you are able to hang necklaces, bracelets, and earrings!

What you will need:
Old wooden ladder
Paint
Vinegar
Water
Spray bottle
Optional: fairy lights
It may seem like a farm decor style, but it can also transform into a beautiful vintage shelf! The first thing you will want to do is find an old wooden ladder, which you may be able to find at an estate sale or your local junk shop. Next, you’re going to want to take your preferred paint color and paint the ladder. After the paint dries, take your spray bottle and fill it with 50/50 vinegar and water. Spray the painted ladder with the mixture and then wipe the ladder down with an old rag. This will give the ladder a distressed look. Lastly, place the ladder where it looks best in your home, and place the items you want on your shelf on the steps. If you want to make it look extra special, take fairy lights and weave them around the legs of the ladder!
These DIY vintage decor items will make your house envied by all. No one will believe that you did not find any of these beautiful items in an antique shop but made them instead!
