Women have been neglected, disregarded, and stifled for too long. Those who want keep things as they are have trampled on our rights and silenced our voices. But, I think it's time for a shift.

We must insist on having our opinions taken seriously, having our experiences regarded as valuable, and having our rights recognized and protected. We need to unite in solidarity and demand a world where all women are treated with respect and dignity.

This necessitates active resistance to patriarchy and other forms of oppression. Removing the limitations placed on us because of our gender requires us to question the preconceptions and assumptions that have been made about us.

In addition, this calls for a celebration of the unique qualities that make us strong and resilient as a people. It means recognizing the tremendous effect women have had throughout history and continue to have on the world.

You must maintain your calls for reform as we move forward. Don't be silent; keep advocating for what you believe in and don't stop until you've won. All women may benefit from our combined efforts to improve the world.

So, to all the wonderful women in the world, I say this: your voices should be heard because they are powerful and because you are capable. You should be able to go about your day without worrying about being victimized by bigotry, oppression, or physical harm. Your opinion counts, and your life lessons are invaluable.

Let us collaborate to make this world one in which women's rights are secure, their voices are heard, and they are able to fully participate in society.

With affection and unity,

Yasmin Al-Zaben, 22 years old
